Armoury

Prerequisites: Main Building level 3, Academy level 1, Travian Version 2.5 or higher

Your warriors' armour is enhanced in the armoury's melting furnaces. By increasing its level you can order the fabrication of even better armour.

An upgrade done to a unit counts for all units of that type in the village the upgrade is done. This means an upgrade done in village A does not count for troops coming from village B.

NOTE: A unit's armour value ONLY helps when defending.

The bonus added by upgrading a unit is estimated to be 1.5% (factor 1.015). This means a unit's defence worth is base_worth*1.015^Armoury_level.
The Gallic Phalanx for example has 40 defence versus infantry and 50 defence versus cavalry by default. By upgrading the Phalanx’s armour in the Armoury you get these results:
